College Football Countdown is entering its 4th season as the premier studio show for all Big Ten & Notre Dame football events on NBC & Peacock. Located at the NBC Sports Headquarters in Stamford, CT, the show provides all pregame, halftime, bridge show & postgame content for each game. NBC’s college football season begins Saturday August 29th & extends through Saturday November 28th. College Football Countdown airs every Saturday, as well as a special Black Friday show. The goal of the show is to provide the best college football analysis & stay focused on the biggest stories developing throughout the day. The show also takes pride in delivering up-to-date game breaks around the country throughout our Big Ten & Notre Dame game & studio coverage.
Job Description
This is a part-time project / limited term position with an estimated duration for designated sport season unless otherwise amended.
In this role, you are responsible for Graphics on College Football studio on NBC Sports.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Graphics Associate Producer for College Football Studio show (Big Ten & Notre Dame) on NBC, Peacock & NBCSN. Oversee all aspects of the graphics operation throughout the week and live on air
- Create ideas for graphical elements, research them and build out on air graphics to be used during the game
- Work and collaborate with the graphics department on all show elements and ensure proper delivery to production team
- Lead the production graphics team which includes a chyron operator, 2nd font coordinator, 2nd chyron operator & ticker operator
- Collaborate with the sports research department to produce the most well-suited graphics for each segment of the show
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum two (2+) years’ experience doing Graphics on live or studio sporting events
Desired Characteristics:
- Knowledgeable of football, specifically at the collegiate level
- Has a passion for sports & statistics, effective communicator, attention to detail and can work in fast paced environment
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, sustain focus on
assigned duties and multi-task - Solid working knowledge of various research sources and methods
- Have exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Possess a high level of initiative
- Team player

Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
