Job Description

This temporary role (maternity leave coverage) supports core HR processes and helps strengthen employee engagement, culture, inclusion, and corporate social responsibility initiatives. The position serves as an additional point of contact for employees, ensuring clear communication, smooth coordination, and timely execution of local and regional HR projects. It also provides operational and administrative HR support to maintain compliance, accuracy, and continuity across the function.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end support for planning, logistics, communication, and execution of internal events such as the Entrepreneurship Fair, Mid-Year Integration, Father’s Day, “Amor y Amistad,” Halloween, End-of-Year Party, and other activities. Includes vendor quotes, purchase orders, invoicing, room bookings, event setup, calendar invitations, onsite support, and post-event impact measurement.
  • Support the execution of the annual Wellbeing plan. Activities include Mental Health Week, Health Month, lifestyle programs, wellness workshops, and communications. Partner closely with the HSE Specialist.
  • Schedule English conversation clubs, maintain communication with English and Portuguese providers, track participant progress and levels, and support local Learning & Development initiatives.
  • Create and send the monthly internal newsletter, manage HR and engagement communications, prepare event invitations, and ensure alignment in tone and visual standards across internal channels.
  • Provide administrative support for HR operations to ensure compliance and continuity. This includes maintaining and updating documentation, preparing contracts, supporting policy adherence, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees and act as a bridge between staff and the business to ensure employee needs are understood and addressed 

Qualifications

Basic Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Communications, or related fields.
  • 1-3 years of proven experience in HR.
