Job Description

We are seeking a Specialist of Performance Marketing Operations, to join the direct-to-consumer Performance Marketing team for Peacock under the wider Growth Strategy org. This role will sit at the convergence of Performance Marketing and Operations and be responsible for day-to-day support of the Performance team. 
 
The ideal candidate will have hyper attention to detail and understand that teammates & partners rely on both quick action and accuracy in their work to execute paid media campaigns. They will be passionate about helping to build a Performance Ops center of excellence and exploring new technologies and ways of working to drive success. We are looking for someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and be an integral part of the wider team’s success. 
 
Responsibilities: 
 
Ordering/Change Management 

  • Good understanding of the needs of Performance Marketing, taking ownership of all creative orders and metadata change management requests to impact creative execution and reporting for performance paid media campaigns. 

  • Communicate with Performance Marketing teams and agency stakeholders on the status of campaigns and deliveries and help troubleshoot any blockers for execution. 

  • Request and facilitate copy requests and approvals for platform copy across all necessary channels. 

  • Help keep due dates and flight dates up to date when business decisions and environmental factors cause regular change. 

  • Help reduce creative wastage by ensuring assets are flighted as intended and paused as needed. 

  • Ensure assets are being uploaded to platforms in a timely manner. 

  • Ensure trafficking instructions are routing assets to the proper destinations. 

Ongoing Taxonomy/Reporting Support 

  • Maintain adherence to Performance Marketing taxonomy to support agency and analytics teams including requesting and updating campaign and sub-campaign codes for each execution (including tests). 

  • Understand the relationship between our systems and workflows and how metadata flows through our pipeline to help ensure accuracy at every touch point. 

Creative Spec Management/Best Practices 

  • Attend meetings with advertising partners to learn about platform/industry best practices, new advertising placements and their associated technical requirements. 

  • Help maintain constantly changing spec database and best practice documentation. Communicate changes to larger org in a timely manner. 

Cross-Functional Projects 

  • In meetings between cross-functional stakeholders, help coordinate on agendas, recaps, and tracking actionable next steps (both internally and externally). 

  • On operations-based projects, be the relationship owner between all parties including agency (and when necessary, ad-partners and third-party vendors). 

Qualifications

  • Candidates should have at least 1+ years experience working to support paid digital marketing teams in an operations capacity. 

  • An understanding of digital channels, platforms, and promotional assets utilized by large scale media companies in digital marketing campaigns. 

  • Prior experience supporting media agencies. 

  • Expertise or sufficient working knowledge within AirTable.

Additional Requirements: 

  • Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
