Job Description

NBCUniversal Advertising Products & Solutions (AP&S) is responsible for the product development and project management of NBCUniversal’s full advertising technology suite. From sales support to campaign execution, delivery, and billing, our division services both internal and external customers in support of NBCUniversal’s $7B+ annual advertising business. Together, we’re building the platform that powers the future of advertising at NBCU.

NBCUniversal is seeking a Sr. Product Manager, Data Collaboration to join the Data Collaboration & Identity team. This team develops products that enable privacy‑centric data collaboration between NBCU and its clients, agencies, enterprise partners and measurement vendors. In this role, you will help champion the launch, adoption, and performance of data collaboration and ad‑measurement products.

The Sr. Product Manager will oversee measurement products enabled through data collaborations, including data clean rooms. Responsibilities include the development of collaboration onboarding standards and guide partners through the early phases of collaboration before transitioning engagements to the business. You will advise internal teams (Sales, Strategy, Solutions and Operations) on how to utilize the NBCU’s clean room offerings to fuel revenue growth and provide campaign performance transparency in a secure and privacy‑forward manner.

As the Sr. Product Manager Data Collaboration you will:

  • Work with cross functional teams such as engineering and data science teams to build data clean room-based products that meet the needs of NBCU advertisers, agencies, third-party measurement vendors, and other ad tech providers.
  • Onboard new clients and engage in the clients first activities of the collaboration before handing it over to the business.
  • Support existing clean room clients and their expansion of the data cleanroom usage.
  • Prioritize the product roadmap, managing near-term product delivery while formulating a long-term product strategy to provide the most relevant and innovative measurement to NBCU advertisers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Strategy, Sales, Solutions, Measurement, Operations, marketing, Legal to bring products to market and increase adoption
  • Be an expert on the methodologies of our growing measurement suite, including campaign delivery metrics, viewability, audience reach and frequency, attribution, and conversion lift.
  • Present and evangelize our data collaboration product suite to internal and external partners, educating teams on capabilities that can unlock each partner’s business objectives.
  • Define key performance metrics and establish systems to track and evaluate the success of critical initiatives. Develop and present regular performance reports to senior leadership.

Qualifications

We’re seeking a candidate who has:

  • BS/BA degree, preferably in computer science, mathematics or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience with a proven record of successfully launching and scaling platforms.
  • Experience presenting to clients and executive leaders - possess excellent interpersonal skills, as well as align a diverse set of stakeholders towards a common goal.
  • Must have intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience working in cloud-based data warehouses or data clean rooms, including work on relational databases, proficiency in API connectivity, and a working knowledge of machine learning and Python applications.
  • Should have direct experience working in one or more public cloud: Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience working in data clean rooms such as Liveramp DCR (formerly Habu), Snowflake DCR (formerly Samooha), Databricks, Infosum.
  • Delivered a roadmap and executed on ad measurement and/or data clean room products.
  • Has a thorough understanding of the ads measurement and identity ecosystems, including CTV experience and familiarity with measurement and ad tech vendors.
  • Has experience collaborating closely with advertisers, agencies, measurement partners, and publisher sales and measurement analyst teams.
  • Has experience collaborating with Engineering, Data Science, and other Product Teams.
  • Has familiarity with legal compliance and the changing landscape of ads data privacy regulations around the world.

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary range: $140,000 - $175,000 (bonus eligible)
