Job Description

The Traffic Operations Coordinator is a key member of the Traffic & Program Operations team. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of sales order entry, log management, and program scheduling for both COZI Local/National orders and NBC True CRMZ (LX) channels.

Responsibilities

  • Enter all COZI Local/National sales orders into the system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Provide both pre-log and post-log reports to clients as required
  • Assign commercial copy and materials IDs to traffic logs. Coordinate creative revisions with clients and the sales team, including generating reports for missing materials or instructions and contacting clients to obtain missing copy
  • Edit local and national traffic logs as needed, which may involve adjusting programming formats to ensure proper scheduling and compliance
  • Apply secondary events (such as snipes) to traffic logs to enhance programming and meet promotional requirements
  • Collaborate with Corporate Finance Services (CFS) to create new agency and advertiser billing codes and conduct research to resolve billing discrepancies
  • Assist in the creation of program formats and maintain accurate program schedules within the program and traffic systems
  • Provide coverage for team members as needed, supporting both COZI and NBC True CRMZ (LX) channels

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a Traffic or Coordinator role
  • Demonstrated impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and channels simultaneously
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
  • Thrives in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic computer skills

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience with WideOrbit Traffic and/or WideOrbit Network System is a plus
  • Flexible availability and willingness to work overtime on short notice
  • Demonstrated resilience under pressure and consistent composure in high-intensity, deadline-focused settings
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring precision in all facets of order entry, scheduling, and reporting
  • Quick learner with a strong ability to master new technologies and adapt to shifting operational demands

Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence
