Job Description

NBCUniversal has embarked on a multi-year S4 transformation journey.

We are seeking a skilled SAP Data Conversion Business Analyst to lead and support data migration efforts from legacy ECC systems into SAP S4.

This role involves gathering requirements, designing data transformation rules, and ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the conversion lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP data migration tools and a strong understanding of business processes and data governance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead data conversion activities for SAP implementations, including planning, mapping, transformation, and validation.

· Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, and technical teams to gather and document data requirements.

· Design and document data mapping and transformation rules from legacy systems to SAP.

· Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.

· Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure high data quality.

· Support data loads and reconciliation processes during test and production cycles.

· Analyze data issues and work with cross-functional teams to resolve defects.

· Maintain documentation for conversion processes and provide status updates to project leadership.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Information systems, Computer Science, or related field.

· 3+ years of experience in SAP or data conversion projects.

· Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python etc. for data analysis and validation.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations preferred.

· Knowledge of SAP modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, or HCM.

· Understanding of data governance frameworks and compliance requirements.

· Utilize tools such as SAP BODS, Migration Cockpit, BAPI, and IDOC for ETL processes.
