Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution is responsible for the licensing and distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of television and streaming platforms in the U.S., Canada and in over 200 territories internationally. NBCUniversal’s content portfolio includes a vast and diverse library of more than 6,500 feature films and 170,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, kids, sports, news, long-form and short-form programming from Universal Pictures, Focus Features, Universal Television, UCP, Universal International Studios, Sky Studios, Universal Television Alternative Studio, NBC Late Night properties, DreamWorks Animation, Telemundo, Universal Pictures Content Group, as well as locally produced content from around the world, and more. Global TV Distribution is a division of Comcast NBCUniversal.

Overview:

The Executive Assistant reports to Chief Financial Officer of Global TV Distribution. This assistant is responsible for managing schedules, answering phones, and routing calls, coordinating meetings, arranging video conferences, and collating reports for meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to manage multiple schedules.
  • Manages complex calendar while coordinating with multiple time zones across, handling last minute schedule changes with precision.
  • Coordinate and book travel for CFO including flights, hotels, and processing travel expense reports.
  • Provides a bridge for smooth communication; demonstrates leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff and their immediate team.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive topics.
  • Act as a liaison for Finance & Accounting teams, keeping teams informed and up to date on company communications and departmental changes. 
  • Assist with onboarding of new employees including equipment and IT requests.
  • Maintain, organize, prepare copies of and/or distribute financial reports and other documents.
  • Assist in creating and assembling PowerPoint presentations.
  • Performs basic administrative tasks, e.g., faxing and photocopying.
  • Assists other department members as necessary, including basic research gathering and data analysis.
  • Maintains contact lists.
  • Take and distribute meeting notes as needed.
  • Schedules and runs regular staff meetings, including putting agenda together, running presentation, and coordinating with guest speakers.
  • Additional duties and projects as needed.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED Required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of Executive Assistant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Must consistently demonstrate a high quality of work performed, both accurately and efficiently.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
