Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. Job Description

The Creative Operations Print team is seeking a Director, Theatrical Print to support the department lead across theatrical titles and strategic initiatives. This role oversees a broad range of print and out-of-home (OOH) marketing efforts, including outdoor advertising, artwork tracking, special events, sports partnerships, and specialty projects. The Director will manage layouts, approvals, production logistics, and vendor coordination, and will be responsible for attending press checks to ensure color consistency and quality. Serving as a key liaison for various Marketing teams, this position requires strong cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure timely, accurate, and high-impact campaign execution.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Oversee layouts, approvals, and production for outdoor advertising, including one-sheets, standees, wildposting campaigns, stunts, and special projects
  • Attend press checks, bus viewings, color checks, and site surveys to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Manage Canadian outdoor campaigns, including layout approvals and production coordination
  • Collaborate with the department on print finishing and color-correction processes
  • Lead Brand and Symphony initiatives, including theater wraps (Universal Orlando/Hollywood), 30 Rock/Comcast signage, and specialty projects
  • Partner with creative teams to develop international print and digital materials
  • Assist in the creation and adaptation of international title treatments and translations
  • Manage creative layouts and relationships with sports marketing partners (UFC, NBA, NHL, etc.).
  • Track key art clearances and ensure compliance with legal requirements
  • Coordinate with internal design teams and external vendors on layout and production
  • Liaise with printers to obtain estimates, provide specifications, and manage shipping and out-of-home (OOH) allocations
  • Monitor all OOH and digital OOH (DOOH) deliveries, ensuring timely distribution and collaboration on full-motion digital layouts
  • Provide backup support to Directors, Managers, and Coordinators as needed
  • Distribute final digital and print art files to relevant departments for use and archiving
  • Maintain and manage all theatrical assets on SharePoint and internal servers

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a print production environment
  • Strong understanding of color systems, including RGB and CMYK
  • Proven experience with color separations and attending press checks
  • Proficiency in macOS-based productivity tools: Microsoft Word, Excel or Apple Numbers, and Outlook
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

Additional Requirements:

  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week (M-Th). Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary range: $130,000-155,000 (bonus eligible)
