Job Description

The Ad Sales Enterprise Product Team enables NBCUniversal’s Ad Sales portfolio to drive revenue and growth. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that collaborates through the life cycle of a product including conceptualization, development, and commercialization. 

The Manager, Product Management will be responsible for the managing a team of product owners that work on multiple products supporting Sales, Marketing and Insights & Measurement. The role requires an understanding of the Ad Sales ecosystem. It is the Managers job to oversee and maintain the roadmap for their suite of products. The Manager may be asked to participate in special projects that touch other functional areas.

Business Strategy and Objectives Alignment: We understand and can articulate business objectives, priorities and demands. We understand the technology landscape and ensure products are built to support business goals as well as adhere to best practices and fit into the overall strategic goals of NBCUniversal. 
 
Solution Delivery: We are effective at delivering solutions. We ensure clarity in requirements, relevant and efficient technology processes and procedures, and overall fluid software development.
 
Project Management: We plan, manage execution, and communicate milestones and challenges. We identify risks and effectively work to mitigate them.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or relevant experience 
  • 5 years+ of experience in Product Management
  • 2 years+ managing people
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and familiarity with agile methodologies
  • Experience in interfacing with engineering to provide business use case and detail
  • Experience with delivery systems like Jira and Confluence
  • Strong knowledge of advertising sales, the media marketplace and technology trends
  • Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to speak fluently with business, marketing, design, data, and engineering team members

  • Proven ability to deliver on commitments
  • Ability to lead and work autonomously

  • Ability to develop strong relationships with management and internal collaborators
  • Experience with media sales, traffic systems, agency exchange systems
  • MBA is a plus

Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
