Job Description
- Establish, build, and maintain relationships with the legal business groups, understanding their needs related to intellectual property, distribution and exploitation rights in content.
- Partner with TechOps to manage the rights governance backlog and incoming requests, ensuring clear communications and efficient processing.
- Work with key stakeholders from varied business groups to hear and understand feedback and concerns, bring disparate groups to consensus, distill information and decisions for communication to tech teams, and ensure business users needs are appropriately addressed through operational and systematic solutions.
- Verify all necessary information for incoming requests is complete and accurate.
- Prioritize requests in accordance with the governance framework.
- Prepare agendas for Governance meetings, include new items for discussions.
- Lead and facilitate all Governance meetings, ensuring clear communication of outcomes and manage conflict.
- Update JIRA tickets to reflect meeting outcomes, including prioritization, pain points, tech challenges and use cases.
- Draft and disseminate meeting notes to ensure clear communication of outcomes.
- Create and distribute meeting agendas to prepare participants for discussions.
- Provide monthly executive updates on progress and key developments.
- Proactively escalate any issues and monitor resolution/delivery and maintain communications with Governance Committee members.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in digital media, entertainment operations or rights management.
- 5+ years’ experience in client/account management or project management.
- Strong technical expertise to understand and address technical issues in rights management, CRM or other technical platforms.
- Proven ability to design process from the ground up to support evolving business need.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, internal teams, and external vendors.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Must be highly organized and able to work independently within own process.
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
