Job Description

This position will be a key player in the KNSD and KUAN Finance Departments.  Successful candidates will have an established background in accounting or finance, a strong analytic foundation, and an aptitude to maintain responsibility for a broad range of evolving priorities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Compile financial information, record journal entries, and prepare variance analyses
  • Analyze trends and develop financial models to support strategic initiatives
  • Forecast operating expenses for budget and pacing purposes
  • Prepare quarterly account reconciliations
  • Manage capital budget, pacing, and inventory
  • Act as liaison between centralized Accounts Payable Team and Station Management
  • Act as T&E administrator; manage monthly T&E internal audit
  • Manage monthly PCard internal audit
  • Maintain operating expense contracts, renewals, and terminations
  • Oversee vehicle fleet management
  • Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
  • Assist Finance Department with any adhoc research and reporting projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; accounting emphasis preferred
  • 3+ years of accounting or finance experience
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Power Point

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from our San Diego office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
