Data is part of the DNA at Peacock and the Experimentation team plays a large role in driving our data driven culture. We own the technology that enables experimentation and act as subject matter experts to help teams measure the performance of the features and campaigns that customers experience every day. Our work is high visibility as it directly informs product and editorial decisions. Key stakeholders include Product, Marketing, UX, Editorial and Advertising teams.

The Sr Lead, Experimentation will be the platform’s product owner and is responsible for building features and capabilities that will scale the velocity and complexity of experiments. This role will own the feature roadmap and overall help advance the practice across the organization.
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Own the experimentation platform roadmap and product strategy to drive adoption
  • Identify opportunities where new features, tooling and automation can optimize the experiment lifecycle of planning, launching and analyzing results
  • Understand stakeholder needs, create user stories and define requirements to ensure features are impactful and help stakeholder teams achieve their goals
  • Partner with our engineering and tech delivery teams to bring features to life in an agile environment
  • Guide stakeholders through platform integrations and create playbooks to make the process as seamless as possible
  • Conduct trainings and help manage a center of excellence to foster a culture of experimentation and overall use of the platform

 

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience building or enhancing an experimentation platform at an eCommerce, social network, direct-to-consumer or media entertainment company
  • Expert knowledge of how experimentation platforms function and what capabilities are required to scale data-driven product decisioning within a large organization
  • Direct experience managing or interfacing with APIs, SDKs, CMSs or other middleware platforms
  • Strong understanding of experimental design, statistics and other analytical concepts for experimentation
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze data using SQL, R or Python
  • Experience using home grown and industry platforms (i.e. Adobe Target, Optimizely, split.io, etc.)
  • BA/BS in technical or quantitative disciple or significant relevant work experience

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
