Job Description
A Day in the Life
HTM Dialysis Specialist will work closely under the supervision of the Clinical Engineering Director, as well as the Senior HTM Dialysis Specialist. Responsibilities include the following.
- -Maintain, test, repair all water treatment equipment, dialysis equipment, testing equipment, as required by the manufacturer.
- -Document all maintenance and repairs.
- -Maintain an accurate equipment inventory.
- -Conducts water testing at required intervals and maintains this documentation.
- -Ensures all maintenance is completed in a timely fashion and is within required grace periods.
- -Ensures all work areas are safe and clean.
Qualifications
What’s Required
- Associate’s degree in electronics or biomedical equipment technology; In lieu of an associate’s degree consideration will be made for a high school (or GED equivalent) diploma and 2 years of relevant experience.
- Valid driver’s license and or ability to cover at other facilities and transport equipment and supplies as needed.
- Qualities and traits: Collaborative, independent, analytical, mechanical, self-motivated, self-starter, continuous learner.
- Prior experience working in a mechanical, automotive, or construction industry, Dialysis, or medical technical setting. (Preferred, but not required).
- Continued employment contingent upon successful completion of OEM technical training for B.Braun Dialysis machines.
