Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team in the heart of London. As a key member of our establishment, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional drinking experience for our guests whilst maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails and innovative signature drinks
  • Provide friendly and efficient service to patrons, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously
  • Maintain a clean and organised bar area, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Manage stock levels, assist with inventory, and collaborate with management on beverage ordering
  • Process payments accurately and responsibly handle cash and card transactions
  • Offer knowledgeable recommendations on drink pairings and menu items
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and coordination
  • Assist in creating and updating drink menus, incorporating seasonal trends and guest preferences
  • Ensure compliance with UK alcohol laws and practise responsible serving at all times
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues during busy periods

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced environment
  • Completed apprenticeship in the hotel trade or professional experience in the hospitality industry
  • Extensive knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes and mixology techniques
  • Thorough understanding of UK alcohol laws and commitment to responsible service practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
  • Strong multitasking abilities and efficiency in a high-volume setting
  • Proficiency in cash handling and experience with POS systems
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to remain calm and maintain high standards of service during busy periods
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist across departments when needed
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and dedication to providing exceptional guest experiences
  • BIIAB Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH) qualification is desirable
