Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Agile Program Manager to manage engineering projects and collaborate with teams across Australia, Ireland, and the UK. This role entails breaking down initiatives, creating release plans, and ensuring smooth project execution. While not a managerial position, the Agile Program Manager will mentor engineers and align their performance with organizational standards.

Day to day:

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and support, in alignment with the project objectives and business goals.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, and ensure that the project deliverables are completed on time, to the required scope and quality
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  • Determine engineer capacity required for each project and request resource allocation where required.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of delivery processes, tools, and techniques to enhance the ways of working for the engineering team and business

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience delivering projects within an agile environment.
  • Experience in managing projects from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, monitoring, and support.
  • Experience in delivering white-label products within a startup or scale-up environment.
  • Skilled in change management, remote collaboration, and using tools like Atlassian suite and Miro.
  • Experience working across different time zones
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model (combination of on-site and working from home)
  • Open to working outside standard hours to collaborate with Australia.
