Compensation for this position is $55,000 to $78,000 based on experience and potential incentives.

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Store Manager to join our team in St. Louis, United States. As the Automotive Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our automotive store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the automotive store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed sales targets and financial goals
  • Recruit, train, and mentor store staff to build a high-performing team
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of automotive parts and supplies
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions
  • Resolve customer complaints and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with district management to implement company-wide initiatives and promotions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and automotive technologies

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education in business management or automotive technology is a plus
  • Proven leadership experience in a retail or automotive sales environment
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive profitability
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term customer relationships
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive parts, services, and repair processes
  • Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale systems
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team and interact with customers
  • Ability to multitask and make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in automotive store management software and basic computer applications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform other job-related physical tasks
