Job Description
The Engineering Process Specialist position is responsible for coordinating the change management processes for the engineering design team. This includes developing and implementing continuous improvement activities that support the overall goals and objectives of the company. The primary responsibility of the Process Specialist is to ensure the project team follows the engineering design and change processes, and the project deliverables are implemented on time. This role is responsible for creating and/or maintaining various engineering processes and systems and working closely with various departments to coordinate the continuous improvement of related processes and procedures.

Engineering Process and System:
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust engineering processes and systems. Review new processes with key stakeholders for alignment and approval.
- Provide training to engineering and other departments on new processes and standards.
- Serve as a coordinator to ensure clear and transparent communication between all departments.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of KPl's set forth by management.
- Generate regular reports for management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Communicate issues to relevant stakeholders and lead or coordinate resolution efforts.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to meet MCG business goals.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and implement corrective measures for non-conforming products.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering and experience with CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement and lean principles is preferred.
Required Skill/Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

- Proficient with PC's and MS Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point).

Work Environment and Physical Demands
- The work environment is primarily office-based, with a quiet to moderate noise level and traditional lighting.
- Wear the proper PPE when visiting warehouses or transportation facilities.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and operating a computer.
- Ability to lift to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to travel between MCG locations as needed. Some travel could require overnight stays.
