Job Description

Miratech is looking for a Business Analyst who will be responsible for Permission Reference Documentation as a part of the Access and Identity Management (AIM) team.

The Access and Identity Management (AIM) team is a critical component of Global Information Security and is responsible for controlling and maintaining secure access across the technology estate.

The team ensures that all users have appropriate access to technology systems and resources within the Firm. This is an Analytical role assigned to a project for the Aladdin trading and risk management system to better understand, document, and improve governance around how groups of portfolios (port groups) are managed across the firm. The systems support the full lifecycle of the investment management process, from quantitative risk management to order entry, trade routing, and settlement.

The role requires to work from the office 4 days per week. Office location: Gurgaon, India.

Responsibilities:

  • Identification and definition of existing Portfolio Group Use Cases
  • Liaising with Business Users and COOs to establish Portfolio Groups usage
  • Analysis of past Portfolio Group-related issues and operating errors
  • Analysis of Portfolio Group types, ownership, business use, and dependency
  • Analysis of existing Portfolio Group governance and controls
  • Identification and Cataloguing of critical/key operational / business Portfolio Groups
  • Assist with identifying improvements to Portfolio Group governance and controls
  • Assist with the design of improved governance controls

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience Business Analyst
  • 3+ years of experience in data manipulation and collation in Microsoft Excel
  • 1 year of experience in Investment Management
  • Ability to liaise with Business teams and individuals to extract the relevant portfolio group information
  • SQL and Tableau experience would be advantageous
