Job Description

  • Fundamental equity research and stock selection across the European, Swiss and US investment universe, including financial modelling, valuation, earnings forecasts and ongoing monitoring of investment cases.
  • Management of the high-conviction equity offering: universe screening, generation and promotion of stock ideas, maintenance of internal ratings, focused lists and equity baskets, and related reporting.
  • Production of concise, actionable research content.
  • Internal promotion: regular written and oral communication of high-conviction views in weekly, monthly and ad hoc meetings; active support to portfolio managers and advisors, including client materials and visits to subsidiaries.
  • Active participation in investment, research and product-related committees, contributing bottom-up stock views within the broader macro, regional and sector framework.
  • Working knowledge and use of equity derivatives and options to support portfolio-construction discussions and client-specific equity solutions, where relevant.
  • Participation in UHNW client portfolio reviews, tailored pitches and client/prospect meetings in collaboration with portfolio managers and advisors.
  • Contribution to the external visibility of the Equity Team.
  • Participation in internal projects, including the development of research processes, quantitative screening tools, reporting and client-facing content.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience (at least 15 years) in a similar role, in the Wealth and/or Asset Management field :
  • Strong experience in fundamental equity research, financial modelling, valuation, earnings forecasting and stock selection;
  • European equity markets experience is a plus;
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail;
  • Good knowledge of equity-market dynamics, company earnings and portfolio construction; knowledge of derivatives is an advantage;
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, in French and English, and the ability to lead client meetings and speak in public;
  • High standard of report writing and attention to detail;
  • Take ownership for work, always ensuring standards and deadlines are met and keeping others informed and up to date;
  • Work in an organised and logical way, ensuring clients key needs are met to the required standard;
  • Work well under pressure, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks;
  • Willing to share knowledge and experience, learn from others, give and receive feedback and contribute to a team environment as a Senior team player;
  • Self-motivated with an eagerness to learn and keep up to date with the investment industry, market conditions, etc.
