Job Description
Minor Hotels Australasia is looking for a passionate and driven Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our People & Culture team, based in our Brisbane CBD office, on a 1-year maternity leave cover.
As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will play an important role in attracting and securing talent across our diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Working closely with hiring managers and the broader People & Culture team, you will manage end-to-end recruitment across a variety of roles, providing practical recruitment advice, market insights and a positive experience for both candidates and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Partner with hiring managers to provide practical and tailored recruitment advice.
- Develop engaging job advertisements and talent attraction strategies aligned with the Minor Hotels brand.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing and shortlisting through to offer and onboarding.
- Source candidates through a range of channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, referrals and direct sourcing.
- Provide advice on salary expectations, market conditions, recruitment trends and talent availability.
- Conduct interviews, reference checks and assessments to support effective candidate selection.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers and provide guidance throughout the recruitment process.
- Work collaboratively with the People & Culture team to identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.
- Maintain accurate recruitment data and optimise the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for compliance, reporting and visibility.
- Support recruitment initiatives and projects across the broader People & Culture team.
- Champion diversity, inclusion and professionalism throughout the recruitment process.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
- 2+ years’ experience in agency or internal recruitment, with a proven track record of delivering quality outcomes.
- Experience using Workday will be highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment practices, market trends and sourcing strategies, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trust with stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and contribute to organisational success.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively, aligned with Minor Hotels’ Partnership-driven values.
