Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive to join our team in Cape Town. This role will support the Leisure & MICE Sales Manager in driving revenue growth across our portfolio by building strong relationships with travel partners, tour operators, and MICE clients.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about sales, hospitality, and delivering exceptional client experiences while contributing to the success of a growing regional sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tour operators, travel agents, PCOs, event planners, and corporate clients.
- Assist with the development and management of leisure and MICE accounts.
- Conduct sales calls, client meetings, and property presentations.
- Coordinate and assist with familiarisation trips and trade events.
- Support the preparation of sales reports, proposals, and contracts.
- Maintain accurate client information and sales activity within the CRM system.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business or Sales (preferred).
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in hospitality sales, travel, or related commercial roles.
- Experience within leisure travel, tour operator, or MICE segments would be advantageous.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Willingness to travel locally when required.
- A passion for hospitality, travel, and sales.
