Job Description
Minor Hotels is seeking a proactive and technically skilled Distribution Executive for a 12-month contract to support property cutovers to Opera Cloud PMS. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless distribution operations, channel connectivity, and commercial performance across our hotel portfolio.
What You Will Do
- Lead all distribution-related activities before, during, and after property cutover to Opera Cloud PMS.
- Ensure all required pre-setup and system configurations are completed ahead of cutover.
- Support smooth and stable Opera Cloud cutovers, troubleshooting distribution issues as they arise.
- Provide ongoing distribution support post-cutover, including channel connectivity and issue resolution.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding distribution queries.
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with distribution vendors.
- Support and maintain channel connections between Opera Cloud and distribution platforms.
- Apply your knowledge of hotel operations, PMS usage, and distribution systems to support commercial outcomes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Distribution, Revenue, Reservations, or working with multiple distribution platforms is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with SiteMinder and SynXis distribution systems required.
- Experience with Opera PMS highly beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to understand technical systems.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, delivering results efficiently.
- Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Proven ability to take initiative, work autonomously, and establish professional relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external.
- Highly developed communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of an organization.
