• Maintains the resort swimming pool and water fountain network always at best conditions.
• Ensures the application and the execution of a good preventive maintenance program for related equipment and machineries.
• Add the chemicals as instructed by the pool supervisor.
• Carry out analysis of pool balance parameters daily and record them in the operational log sheets for reference of Pool supervisor.
• Is responsible for the maintenance of swimming pool interior lights.
• Is responsible for minor electrical maintenance of swimming pool pump stations.
• Timely updates the preventive maintenance program to the Pool supervisor.
• Use all necessary precautions regarding the manipulation of chemical products.
• Lead the Pool Attendants on site for an efficient pool maintenance daily basis.
• Ensures recommended health and hygiene conditions of swimming pool at all times.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the work place and pump stations ensures the self and environmental safety. Also ensures safety of Pool Attendants.
• Maintain good work relations with the pool team to cater to the off hours guest demands.
• Will perform all other duties as directed from time to time by the Pool supervisor.
• Attend for all the maintenance work related to the pools & water features.
• Attend maintenance request, maintenance calls and repairs related to all types of maintenance works in the plant rooms.
• Attend to any faults, and breakdowns of any equipment or a plant room.
• Maintain all under water lights and outdoor lights in the pools & water features.
• Records all parts used during repair and inform to Maintenance officer to order parts.
• Checks maintain fire detecting system carries out periodical test and ensure the system in good working condition
• Standby on call in any emergency job of electrical, plumbing and cleaning works after midnight as per duty roster or as required by Director of Engineer or Chief Engineer.

• Attend daily morning briefing except day off.
• Maintain cleanliness around the surrounding of all the work shop and to where the job had been done.
• Attend duties on time as per duty roster.
• Help and assist engineering crews in times of emergency or in case of fire, natural disaster and calamities.
• To look after guest safety, and address any guest issues as quickly as possible, ensuring that they are completely happy with the work done.
• Report Daily work plan, work follow & Report Daily Inspections to the supervisor or duty engineer.
• Work Order Taker Procedure
• Help Person from lift when the lift off stuck.
• To operate fire alarm and fire equipments.
• Daily check equipments stock for engineering shift.
• Handle/ carries out all work assigned in a good, safe and speedy engineering methods / manner and meet hotel standard.
• To look after all the tools supplied by the Hotel in a professional manner, and correctly maintain and deposit them after finishing the shift.
• Record all jobs done and recommendation in the log book and other report forms as may be required and submit immediately.
• Keep Director of Engineering, Chief Engineer informed of non-operative or improper equipment(s), difficulties in carrying out the job, possible delay, job performance and recommendation / suggestion.
• Watch on spare parts and materials required and make requisition in order to have at anytime expected replacement parts/materials on hand.
• Assist other technician to perform jobs as directed by the superior and keep working condition of all Swimming pools, Water Features & pump rooms meet Resort Standard of operation.
• When working in guest areas particular attention must be paid to noise that may disturb the guest, cleanliness of uniform, grooming and always behave as a diligent, honest and polite employee.
• Assist other technicians to perform job as directed by the superior and maintain hotels properties meet standard of operation.
• Handling the shift without any issue and complain.
• Attend meetings and training as directed by superior.
• Follow all other instruction / rules and regulation that may issue.
• To clean all work areas after finishing the tasks properly.

• To follow all safety procedures while carrying out any tasks.
• To maintain effective communication with the Shift Leader at all times.
• To actively participate in the energy conservation programs of the Hotel.
• To utilize or recommend usage of all environmentally-friendly products in the work place.
• To suggest cost saving ideas as and when possible, not limited to the Engineering Department.

• Must have the appropriate documented training from a technical/vocational institute.
• One year operating experience in a hotel engineering department.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
