Job Description
An exciting leadership opportunity is available for a Director of Sales to take ownership of revenue growth across two iconic Hunter Valley destinations Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat.
In this role, you’ll lead sales performance across MICE, Corporate, Leisure, Health & Wellbeing, Golf, and F&B, while guiding a passionate team and building strong industry relationships. This is a rare chance to influence strategy, grow market share, and make a real impact across two highly regarded properties.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating and executing sales plans aligned with business objectives
- Managing key accounts across multiple market segments
- Leading, mentoring, and motivating the sales and conference teams
- Driving repeat business through strong client partnerships
- Representing both resorts at industry events and trade shows
- Using data and market insights to guide sales decisions
- Working collaboratively with the Commercial Sales team to unlock new opportunities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Director of Sales or similar senior role within hospitality
- Expertise in managing complex sales segments across multiple properties
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
- Knowledge of revenue and distribution strategies
- Passion for customer experience and team development
