Set on the banks of the majestic Kafue River, Anantara Kafue River  Tented Camp offers an exclusive safari experience in the heart of one of Africa’s most pristine wilderness areas. We are looking for a detail‑oriented, hardworking, and service‑minded Housekeeping Attendant to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and presentation of guest rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate takes pride in creating a welcoming environment and understands the importance of high standards in a luxury setting.

• Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
• Ensure all linen, amenities, and guest supplies are replenished and neatly arranged.
• Maintain tidy, clean corridors, back‑of‑house spaces, and housekeeping stores.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items immediately to supervisors.
• Follow cleaning procedures and checklists to ensure consistency and quality. 
• Ensure proper handling and care of furniture, equipment, décor, and linens.
• Work with precision to maintain the aesthetic and comfort standards expected in a luxury camp.
• Offer friendly, respectful, and discreet service when encountering guests. Respond to guest requests promptly and communicate effectively with the Guest Services team when needed.
• Maintain professional grooming and behaviour at all times. 
• Ensure safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment in line with SOPs and safety guidelines,
• Support laundry operations when required, including sorting, folding, and delivering linen. 
•  Assist in preparing rooms for arrivals, special occasions, turndown service, or VIP setups. 
• Uphold brand standards, hygiene protocols, and environmental care practices.

• Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is an advantage, especially in lodges, hotels, or camps.
• Relevant Certificate or qualification.
• Full grade 12 certificate.
• Strong attention to detail and high personal standards of cleanliness.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive, reliable attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to luxury-hospitality service expectations.
