We are looking for a warm, well‑presented and guest‑focused Hostess to join our Food & Beverage team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the overall F&B operation, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, smooth service flow, strong team performance, and positive business results.

Ready to be the ringmaster of our restaurant's grand dining circus? As our star Hostess, you'll orchestrate an unforgettable experience for our guests. Your exciting mission, should you choose to accept it, includes:

  • Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables
  • Manage reservations, seating plans, and guest flow for optimal service
  • Provide accurate information about menus, service times and dining options
  • Coordinate closely with service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming dining environment
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and promptly
  • Support F&B supervisors in service preparation and guest communication
  • Uphold high grooming, hygiene and hospitality standards at all times

Qualifications

 

  • Relevant Diploma/Certificate in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' previous experience in Food & Beverage/Restaurant operation
  • Full grade 12 certificate
  • Keen eye for detail to achieve operational excellence
  • Excellent guest service skills with a warm and welcoming demeanour
  • Fluent English skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong ability to multi task and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in restaurant reservation systems and point-of-sale (POS) software
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest complaints professionally
