Job Description

  • Prepare and verify daily financial transactions, journal entries, and reconciliations
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing
  • Assist with income audit, revenue checks, and variance analysis
  • Monitor departmental expenses and support budget control initiatives
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, Front Office, F&B, and HR teams
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit standards, and local regulations
  • Support inventory counts, stock reconciliations, and cost control activities
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and management summaries

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury resort or hotel environment.
  • Strong understanding of hotel revenue systems (Opera Cloud, Micros POS, Sun Systems, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of Maldives taxation and accounting standards is an advantage.
