Job Description
A Kids Club attendant's job description includes supervising children, leading activities, and ensuring a safe and clean environment. Key responsibilities involve managing check-in and check-out procedures, enforcing club rules, maintaining facilities and equipment, and providing customer service to parents.
Key responsibilities
- Child supervision and safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of children in the kids' club, which includes monitoring activities, managing check-in/check-out, and enforcing all club rules and safety protocols.
- Activity facilitation: Organize and lead various activities such as arts and crafts, games, and storytelling to keep children entertained and engaged.
- Environmental maintenance: Keep the kids' club area clean, tidy, and organized by cleaning up after activities, sanitizing toys, and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Customer service: Greet families, answer questions about programs and facilities, and provide a friendly and welcoming experience for both children and parents.
- Administrative tasks: Handle registration, manage sign-in sheets, and potentially assist with cash and credit card payments.
- Reporting: Document any incidents, injuries, or hazardous conditions and report them to a supervisor.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with children is essential
- CPR and first aid certifications are often required
- Ability to communicate effectively with children and parents
- Friendly, patient, and helpful attitude towards guests
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, activities, and administrative duties efficiently
- Good English communication skills
