Minor Hotels operates five hotels in Doha under the brands Anantara, Tivoli and Oaks, for which Finance Shared Services are currently being established and implemented.

Job Description

Main duties include but not limited to:

  • Supervisory Functions: Review receiving reports, Review payments (Transfers, cheques, Petty cash etc.),
  • Reconciliations: Assist Finance Manager on Bank reconciliation, GL Reconciliations, Fee reconciliation, important account reconciliations etc.
  • Month end closing: Month end standard JV posting and filing, Allocations posting and review, Check Accruals and Prepaid and manage, etc.
  • Assist FM on Q reviews, Forecasting and Budgeting
  • Maintain the contract register, Asset register, compliance resister etc. regularly.
  • Assist FM on month end and other reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting / finance (Master’s Degree is a plus).
  • At least 2-3 years in similar role.
  • Excellence in English communication and computer literacy.
  • strong communication and presentation skills.
