Job Description

As a Desk Manager at the Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky in Amsterdam you are responsible for the management of your shifts at the Front Office and the smooth running of all reception related tasks as well as participation in the shift. In addition to that you will supervise, train and instruct new employees and interns and maintain constant communication with other departments.

Besides managing all current team members on shift you will be responsible for all administrative and financial actions happening, while also performing all Front Office tasks yourself. Part of this is to ensure a correct check-in and check-out process following LQA standards, answering various questions and correctly handling telephone calls and e-mails. We are looking for a service-oriented host to welcome our multinational guests and ensure that every single guest will have a unique and true luxury Anantara experience.
 

Qualifications

  • Spontaneity, flexibility, an open attitude and an eye for detail.
  • Guest-oriented, you see every situation as a challenge and you have strong administrative skills;
  • It gives you energy to manage a team and you are flexible in terms of working hours;
  • You are energetic, spontaneous and you have several years of experience as a receptionist;
  • Experience as a Desk Manager/Shiftleader at the Front Office is a plus;
  • A perfect command of the Dutch and English language, a second foreign language is a plus.
