• Follows up and executes all the works assigned by the maintenance supervisor.
• Takes prompt action relating to all maintenance orders concerning all plumbing, air-conditioning, machine breakdowns and plumbing services or repair of kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Performs regular preventive and corrective maintenance works on laundry and kitchen equipment as per the preventive maintenance schedule.
• May perform maintenance works on all machinery such as pumps, boilers, burners, electric motors, AC units, FCU, expansion tanks, heat exchangers
• Performs all kind of mechanical works such as welding, soldering, grinding, drilling, milling etc…in the mechanical workshop.

• Notes all needed spare parts and consumable materials and instructs the storekeeper of the required materials.
• With the help of the checklist, inspects all the plant-rooms and auxiliary machine rooms for any faulty operation of any of the machinery, checks plumbing services and sanitary fixtures and takes prompt action for rectification of deficiencies.
• Member of the fire team, assists and may replace the general mechanic, plumber and boiler man

• Good command of English and one other language used by majority of staff.
• Two-three years experience in 5 Star Hotels.
