—  To plan and manage all preventative maintenance work, new projects, extensions, and renovations.

—  To comply with all statutory and legal requirements for fire, health and safety licensing and provide all necessary safety equipment required for work to be carried out efficiently and safely.

—  Direct responsible to implement preventive maintenance of the following utilities major component like , Generator, Desalination Plant, Sewage Treatment Plant , Screw chillers, Boilers ,Incinerator, bottle crusher, Inboard and Out board engine.

—  To continually monitor the responsible use of energy in the hotel, and implement measures resulting in energy cost savings.

—  To manage the department, in the absence of the Chief Engineer.

—  Ensure that all maintenance requests are prioritised and are dealt with in an efficient manner, by technically proficient and guest-friendly technicians

—  He/she ideally should be certified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

—  Must be familiar with the operations and priorities of all other hotel operating departments.

—  Advise other colleagues on Health & Safety rules and processes.

• 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a five-star luxury Hotel / Resort.
• Degree / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Able to communicate in English.
• Team Player
• Ability to work flexible hours
