Job Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager Nordics, you will have versatile responsibilities within the finance team, including administration and internal reporting. As such you will have a supporting role to the Finance Manager, as well as working closely with the two other members of the Finance team.
Your role:
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities for the Nordic entities, including general ledger, reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
- Prepare and coordinate VAT, tax and other statutory reporting in cooperation with external advisors and local partners.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for the Nordic business. Prepare internal management reports and financial analyses, providing insights into performance, deviations and key business drivers.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of finance processes, routines and internal controls, with a focus on efficiency and quality.
- Work closely with the Finance Manager Nordic, taking ownership and ensuring continuity across key finance matters
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration and 5+ years of relevant experience within accounting and finance, preferably in an international environment.
- Strong accounting knowledge and hands-on experience with month-end closing and financial reporting. Experience with budgeting, forecasting and management reporting. Good understanding of VAT, tax and statutory reporting.
- Comfortable working both hands-on with day-to-day finance and with broader financial and business-related matters.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate financial information into relevant business insights. You are proactive, structured and self-driven, with the ability to take ownership and work independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with confidence in working with stakeholders across different functions and levels.
Additional Information
Fluency in Swedish and English is mandatory.
