Job Description

The position of Consultant is a key role within our Nordics team and part of our global expansion to drive annual turnover to $1billion. The successful applicant will have experience of working in an advisory capacity with senior management on client sites, possess excellent communications and enjoy working in a dynamic atmosphere to secure results for a market leading listed (NASDAQ: MSTR) global company. MicroStrategy Consultants empower customers to make more informed decisions by providing timely, relevant, and accurate answers to their business questions. To achieve this mission, Consultants work to understand business needs and technical requirements, and design and implement high value solutions in the MicroStrategy platform. MicroStrategy Consultants are an integral part of the world's largest staff of MicroStrategy Certified Engineers and leverage knowledge and best practices across our global team for customer success. MicroStrategy Professional Services' Career Path provides growth opportunities at all levels within the organization. Employees at the Consultant level build upon their previous customer experience by taking on increasingly challenging application development work that may include design activities. They may also be given responsibility as a team coach on small teams, leading and mentoring their more junior colleagues.

Job Duties (include but not limited to): 

  • Provide billable consulting support to achieve account objectives and production success. 
  • Consulting services may include product installation and implementation, product enhancement and integration, or site audits to meet customer business requirements
  • Perform information systems needs assessment, information gathering, and recommend appropriate business systems and IT infrastructure for MicroStrategy customers 
  • Performs data modeling, application development, technical product assistance, and tuning to meet customer performance and functional requirements 
  • Provide exemplary service to clients and work under minimal supervision

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or equivalent degree in a business, technical, or related field
  • 1-2 years of technology and services experience
  • Commitment to personal and professional growth
  • Experience designing and implementing business intelligence solutions
  • Excellent written communication and oral presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively independently as well as in a team environment
  • Staffing to local projects wherever possible, however field consultants can expect to travel as per client needs
