Job Description

As the Regional Sales Manager, Ontario, reporting to the Senior National Sales Director, you will lead MEDFAR’s commercial growth across Ontario. You will own the regional sales strategy, drive new business, and lead a growing team currently composed of 5 SDRs and 3 AEs, with additional growth expected as the market expands.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining sales execution, team development, market expansion, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen MEDFAR’s presence in Ontario.

 

What you'll do:

  • Define and execute the Ontario sales strategy to achieve regional growth and revenue objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a growing team of SDRs and AEs, while driving performance and accountability.
  • Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, strategic relationships, product demonstrations, and negotiations.
  • Build strong knowledge of the Ontario primary-care market, customer needs, competition, and key trends.
  • Grow a network of healthcare stakeholders and strategic partners to support market penetration.
  • Monitor key sales metrics such as pipeline, conversion rates, win rates, and inbound generation to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Onboarding, Deployment, Customer Success, and Sales Operations to support regional growth and share market insights.
  • Support the team on strategic opportunities, complex negotiations, and key customer discussions.

Qualifications

  • You have a university degree in Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • You have at least 6 years of experience in sales, including direct new business development and closing experience. 
  • You have at least 2 years of experience leading a professional sales team ofsimilar or greater size. 
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience in a SaaS environment.
  • You have strong coaching, business development, networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • You have advanced English communication skills. French and experience in healthcare, health tech, EMR/EHR, or Ontario primary care are strong assets.

Working conditions

  • Field-based role located in the GTA area with regular travel throughout Ontario.
  • Occasional travel to Montreal and other MEDFAR locations may be required.
  • Flexibility may be required for customer meetings, events, and business development activities outside of regular business hours..
  • A valid driver’s licence and access to a personal vehicle are required.
