Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager to lead Assess Medical Group through its next phase of growth, service excellence and strategic development. Based in either Sydney or Brisbane, as our new General Manager, you’ll lead and inspire our talented team as you drive commercial performance, strengthen customer and consultant relationships, and guide the business through its next phase of growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the team to achieve revenue, EBITDA and performance targets
  • Build a culture of high performance, service excellence and customer focus
  • Drive business development and growth strategies across new and existing markets
  • Strengthen customer and consultant relationships
  • Oversee operational delivery, quality, compliance and risk management
  • Lead recruitment, capability development and performance management of staff
  • Manage budgets, financial performance and resource allocation

Qualifications

You will bring: 

  • Senior leadership experience in operations, ideally within IME, personal injury, health, insurance or related sectors.
  • Proven strategic management capability within a complex service environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in driving revenue, profitability and business growth.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing and relationship‑building skills.
  • Experience leading large, diverse teams with a focus on performance, culture and service excellence.
  • Strong financial analysis, business development and account management capability.
