Job Description
IPAR are seeking individuals with a professional background in Occupational Therapy interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Canberra!

Whether it’s morning coffee catch‑ups, friendly table‑tennis battles or working together on complex and meaningful cases, the team brings curiosity, compassion and a shared commitment to achieving great outcomes.
Some of your day to day includes:
- Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks);
- Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
- Liaise with employers, case managers, medical professionals, and insurers to provide clinical updates and ensure alignment of rehabilitation goals.
- Work across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare & Department of Veteran's Affairs
- Conduct comprehensive ADL assessments to evaluate an individual's functional abilities and support needs within the home and/or community to promote their independence. Make recommendations for equipment, home modifications, or support services based on assessment findings.
- Prepare timely, high-quality reports outlining findings, recommendations, and clinical reasoning.

Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
- Full Professional Registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded however not essential
- Fabulous communication and time management skills - there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders
- You are someone with compassion, kindness and empathy
- A current Driver’s License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must
