    Job Description

    The role is open to both Sydney and Melbourne

    How you’ll be making an impact in people’s lives:

    • Undertake specific services and assessments such as; field visits, mediations, workplace facilitated discussions, worksite, functional, psychological, and vocational as required
    • Conduct initial assessments and identify return to work barriers and design/implement/monitor programs that assist injured employee return to the workforce as required
    • Conduct Vocational/Rehabilitation Counselling
    • Evidence of accurate information gathering and analysis in order to provide thorough and comprehensive assessments
    • Develop and implement strategies to progress files and achieve return to work benchmarks with minimum case costs
    • Liaise with insurers, medical practitioners, employers and workers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties
    • Complete accurate case notes which reflect actions undertaken and any recommendations to achieve the return to work goal
    • Attend secured work trial and job lead appointments
    • To participate in staff meetings, peer supervision, in-house training and professional development activities, and regular supervision
    • To abide by ethical, legal and professional guidelines as stated by WorkFocus Australia and AHPRA under guidance of supervisors and Regional Manager

    Qualifications

    What you bring to the role?

    • Australian recognised degree qualification in Psychology and AHPRA accreditation
    • NMAS Accreditation or experience as a Mediator is a plus
    • Willingness to learn and impact positively on people’s lives in tangible ways
    • A genuine desire to make a measurable impact in people’s lives.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders.
    • A customer first mindset with a focus on quality outcomes.
    • Confidence working independently in the community.
    • Driver’s licence and vehicle required.
    • Eligibility for a working with children's check and police clearance.
