Job Description
We are looking for AHPRA Registered Psychologists who can deliver authentic, compassionate, and dependable mental health support in a wide range of services including Workers Compensation Schemes, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and Medicare clients via telehealth.
Specifically, we are seeking Registered Psychologists who are available to work late afternoons/evenings incorporating appointments at 4pm, 5pm & 6pm from minimum two days per week up to five days per week. These hours may form part of a full-time working week or a part-time working week depending on clinician preference.
This is a salaried role, not a contractor role.
As a clinician working with Access Psych, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals navigate the challenges of work-related injuries, stress, pain management and other occupational issues. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of clients. Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based mental health training, assessment, and treatment to clients with a range of mental health conditions and outcome goals;
- Work collaboratively with clients, medical and allied health professionals, case mangers and employers to assist people return to work and/or fully re-engage with the community;
- Complete assessments and interventions using your clinical skills
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organisational and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Joining our team of mental health professionals is straightforward. But first, you need to meet a few mandatory requirements:
- General Psychologist Registered with AHPRA;
- Willingness to obtain NSW State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) accreditation and VIC WorkSafe;
- You have permanent residency in Australia;
- You are passionate about improving lives through work and health;
- You want to part of a dynamic, social and hard-working team.
- Interest and willingness to work with workers compensation clients.
