The Health Screening Services (HSS) department is responsible for liaising with health care providers, pathology providers and participants to facilitate fast, simple, and secure appointments - in order to gather the required health information to support the underwriting application process for our customers and their clients (e.g. Participant).
Job Description

An engaging personality, and a passion for delivering exceptional service will be important to succeed in this role. We are looking to fill a full- time position based in Prahran with hybrid working arrangements.
The successful applicant will join our dedicated team, responsible for liaising with Participants, Customers and Providers to schedule health screening appointments to
ensure the timely return of medical information whilst delivering 5-star services.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Management of a portfolio of customers, ensuring your caseload is actioned within timeframes specified in our customer service level agreements and internal KPI’s
- Liaising directly with medical clinics, pathology providers, health professionals and participants to:
- Schedule health screening appointments
- Follow up and obtain health screening information following appointments (e.g. med exam reports, investigation outcome reports and pathology results)
- Negotiating provider fees with clinics
- Answering inbound phone calls from key stakeholders and
assisting with enquiries - Making outbound calls to clinics and participants
- Writing accurate and detailed case notes in the medEbridge
platform
Qualifications
What you’ll need:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer and service orientated focus
- Ability to negotiate, influence and manage conflicts effectively
- The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Technology savvy with intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills, namely Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Advanced understanding of health & medical information exchange, and the interplay between healthcare practitioners, their clients, and insurers
