Job Description
It is an exciting growth period for TWS! We are looking for dynamic, driven and experienced Occupational Therapist or Physio to join our team in Hobart on a part time basis, with the option to increase to full time.
If you’re looking for a position with plenty of variety, autonomy, and flexible working hours, while enjoying all that Hobart has to offer. This role is for you!
We are looking for a motived and experienced OT or Physio to work as part of our dedicated clinical services team, or combine this with occupational rehabilitation consultancy work.
Day to day, you will be involved in delivering a variety of services to clients including:
- Work site and Work place assessments, assisting in RTW after injury
- Ergonomic or Workstation Assessments
- Pre-employment or RTW physical assessments
With the aim of improving employee well-being, preventing injuries, and enhancing performance, an OT or Physio at TWS provides evidenced based assessment, planning, and exercise-based interventions of the highest quality.
Qualifications
- Accredited within your discipline, with full relevant registration
- Experience or interest in working in occupational health or clinical health settings, with primary caseloads being musculoskeletal and occupational health
- Strong assessment and observational skills
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent exercise and activity prescription skills
- Confidence to deliver in-person educational material to both individuals and groups of participants
- Demonstrated time management skills, and ability to manage a diverse workload with competing priorities.
- Positive outlook with the ability to engage and influence and drive positive health outcomes
- Hold and maintain a current Australian Driver’s License, and a working with vulnerable people registration
- Knowledge of worker’s compensation, rehabilitation and occupational health and safety legislation is beneficial.
