Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate AWA - DES/WFA - Job Coach to join our team in Belconnen, Australia. As a Job Coach, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with disabilities to find and maintain meaningful employment opportunities.

  • Provide personalized career coaching and guidance to clients with disabilities
  • Develop and implement tailored employment plans for each client
  • Conduct job readiness assessments and skills evaluations
  • Assist clients in identifying suitable job opportunities and preparing job applications
  • Offer on-the-job support and training to ensure successful workplace integration
  • Collaborate with employers to create inclusive work environments
  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation
  • Monitor client progress and adjust support strategies as needed
  • Stay updated on labor market trends and disability employment regulations
  • Advocate for clients' rights and needs in the workplace
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to program improvements

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic and motivational support
  • Proficiency in case management and counseling techniques
  • Knowledge of the Australian labor market and employment trends
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Ability to travel within the Belconnen area and surrounding regions
  • Certifications in career coaching or disability support are preferred
  • Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry best practices
