Job Description

The Quality Assurance Consultant is involved in the provision of high quality, factually accurate and timely medico-legal reports. We are seeking to employ on a Part Time basis, 3 to 4 Days per week.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Review of medico-legal reports in line with quality framework and relevant regulations and legislation
  • Building sustainable relationships, connections and trust with customers and experts through open and interactive communication
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure prioritisation of workflow
  • Provide feedback and training for medical experts on medico-legal report writing
  • Resolve emerging problems & handle customer complaints by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits, follow ups to ensure resolution, customer record interactions and escalation

Qualifications

  • Experience or qualifications in allied health, legal or insurance industries, ideally with experience in interpreting medico-legal reports – highly regarded
  • Experience in utilising the AMA Guides and WorkCover Guides for assessing permanent impairment and disability assessments is desirable.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Good computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office
