On June 30, 2024, Manchester Tank announced the acquisition of Ditech Testing, joining the McWane family of companies, a strategic move that strengthens our capabilities within the propane tank and pressure vessel industry.

The Yard Helper Associate is responsible for supporting daily yard operations by maintaining yard organization, assisting with the movement and storage of materials, preparing products for delivery or pickup, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety throughout the yard and storage areas.
• Load, unload, and move materials, products, and equipment using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Perform routine yard checks as required.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely
• Follow all company health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Assist with snow removal, sweeping, waste disposal, and general yard maintenance.
• Support warehouse and operations teams with various tasks as needed.

• High school diploma
• Must be able to physically complete required tasks – may include lifting up to 50lbs, bending, stopping, walking or lifting throughout the shift.
• Experience with heavy equipment operations is an asset
• Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, construction, manufacturing, or logistics environment is considered an asset.
• Experience using hand tools (drills, sanders etc)
• CSA safety boots
• Language – English is required / Bilingual (French Speaking) is an asset
• Positive Attitude and willingness to learn
• Must be reliable
• Must be safety conscious.
