Purpose of the Role

Performance on and off the track is driven by smart decisions. As Finance Business Partner – Business Performance, you will bring financial insight to the functions that help drive McLaren Racing’s culture, people performance, environment, business operations and finance activities.

Working closely with Directors, Heads of Function and budget owners, you will build robust financial plans, provide meaningful analysis and challenge, and help stakeholders make confident, value-focused decisions. This is an opportunity to influence business performance in a fast-paced, high-performing environment while developing trusted partnerships across the organisation.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with Business Performance functions, providing clear financial insight on results, trends, risks and opportunities to support decision-making.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning activities, challenging assumptions and helping stakeholders achieve their objectives.
  • Evaluate projects, investments and cost drivers, ensuring decisions are commercially sound and deliver value.
  • Support compliance with Formula One Financial Regulations, maintain effective budgetary controls, and contribute to accurate month-end reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement by enhancing reporting, planning tools, financial processes and the overall quality of business insight.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA part-qualified or newly qualified, with a strong foundation in financial planning, analysis and reporting.
  • Strong Excel and digital skills, with experience of data analysis and reporting tools; Power BI experience is advantageous.
  • The ability to translate complex financial information into clear, practical recommendations for a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical capability, attention to detail and sound judgement when interpreting data, risks and regulations.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality work in a fast-moving environment.
