Pay Range

$28.46 to $39.84/hour.

Compensation is determined by several factors, including location, relevant experience, skill level, and internal equity.  Please note, we don’t typically hire above midpoint.

Work Schedule

100% onsite, with flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays.

Job Description

The Supervisor, Station Administration is responsible for supporting day-to-day administrative functions while fostering a culture of communication, safety, and performance. This role plays a key part in the tracking and follow-through of attendance discipline, training oversight, badging processes, and employee engagement, while serving as a mentor and resource to the station team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize all aspects of station attendance, including tracking, auditing, analyzing trends, and preparing accurate, timely reports.
  • Lead and facilitate attendance progressive discipline processes, including terminations, and probationary releases, driving fairness, consistency, and compliance.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into attendance policy violations, gathering and maintaining complete, well-documented case files.
  • Ensure full compliance with union agreements related to attendance.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and development to Admin Specialists responsible for attendance management, their training assignments, and their operational support functions.
  • Manage and support all badging and security processes, including badge issuance, renewals, terminations, customs seal distribution, and accurate recordkeeping.
  • Coach, mentor, and inspire team members to consistently meet and exceed attendance, performance, and professional development goals.
  • Collaborate with station administration to deliver engagement initiatives, onboarding activities, and other pre-employment processes that strengthen team culture.
  • Recognize and celebrate individual and team contributions, reinforcing positive performance and morale.
  • Prepare, analyze, and communicate reports on attendance to inform leadership decisions and operational planning.
  • Contribute to the development of administrative departmental strategies, goals, and objectives related to attendance and administrative excellence.
  • Partner with Admin leadership to ensure balanced workloads, efficient resource allocation, and adequate administrative coverage at all times.
  • Develop team capabilities through coaching, mentoring, and by providing regular and meaningful feedback.
  • Foster open and honest communication that creates an inclusive, engaging, and high-performance culture that demonstrates McGee's values of Safety, Integrity, Mutual Respect, Accountability and Pride.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support McGee’s successful business operation.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 1 year of administrative or supervisory experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other administrative tools.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to diffuse tense or stressful situations and workplace conflicts.
  • Self-motivated individual able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with a diverse workforce.
  • Ability to influence others, work cross-functionally, and contribute positively to a team-oriented, safety-first culture.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends and Holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred:

  • 2 years of previous leadership experience.
  • Experience coaching and counseling team members on performance related issues.
  • Knowledge/experience working in financial systems, time & attendance systems, payroll systems, HR systems and reporting systems.
  • Aviation, Transportation, or related industry experience.

Airport Badge Requirements

Important notification for roles working at or requiring access to an airport or maintenance hangar: Employees will be required to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge issued by the airport authority.  Depending on the role you may also be required to obtain a US Customs seal and/or USPS security clearance. If an employee does not qualify for or has the necessary clearance revoked, the employee will be terminated.
