Job Title:
Part-time Lead Customer Service Agent
The Lead Customer Service Agent will direct the daily activities of the team, balance resources, and is responsible for supporting a team's ability to achieve mutually established goals. This role is responsible for providing support in turning an aircraft on-time, with a focus on safety and service. The Lead performs all Customer Service Agent duties while mentoring and setting an example for team members.

Shift Info: Our operational teams work around the clock 365 days per year. Shifts will vary based off specific roles, we work hard and play hard too. Our team members adapt to celebrating Holiday's or Events on different days to ensure a strong operational performance.

Do you match this skillset?
- Ensure the assistance of customers with travel needs including check-in, baggage, boarding and general travel questions, directly handling any escalated situations.
- Assists in the preparation of flights by arranging seat assignments, directing guests, making announcements using a PA system processing upgrades and standby requests.
- Assists with mishandled guests as a result of oversold flights, delayed or cancelled flights, lost, delayed or damaged luggage.
- Process and secure guest luggage. Enters and maintains delayed or damaged luggage claims using a data entry system.
- At the direction of management, may be assigned to perform duties of varying capacities to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in airline customer service
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to learn and operate a computerized reservation system.
- Typing speed of 25 WPM or more.
- Ability to consistently lift 75 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, reach, and grasp.
- Ability to perform basic mathematics.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to participate in paid training that may require overnight travel.
- Obtaining and maintaining an airport security clearance, and/or customs sea, including criminal history check, drug screen, and fingerprinting.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience

Union Information
This position is part of a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Per the CBA, work schedules are awarded based on seniority. New hires are awarded their initial shift based on operational need. Therefore, the company cannot guarantee certain days off.
Hourly Range:
The hiring hourly range for this position is expected to be $23.67-$23.67 per hour. The current full hourly range for this position is $23.67-$23.67 per hour.
