Job Description
The Global Payments Analytics team within Treasury is a group of high-performing subject matter experts who leverage data and analytics to shape payment strategy and drive payment program execution. As a trusted business partner to Finance, Customer Experience, Technology, and the markets, the team aims to optimize both in-store and digital payments performance. The Sr. Analyst will play a crucial role by leading data analytics and reconciliation efforts related to digital and delivery sales. They will also serve as the primary contact for working with delivery providers, payment processors, and McDonald’s cross-functional partners to address issues, answer questions, and drive progress.
Description of Duties
- Engage in activities such as data visualization, performance assessment, dashboarding, and predictive analytics to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Lead reconciliation efforts related to digital and delivery sales, ensuring accurate triangulation of data across multiple sources and platforms.
- Conduct in-depth reviews of large data sets to uncover the root causes of performance trends and indicators.
- Interpret key findings and implications, translating insights for different audiences, including high-level summaries for executives and more detailed explanations for broader teams.
- Collaborate with the broader Insights and Analytics, Marketing, and data vendor teams to support the business’s digital payment strategy and integrate relevant key learnings.
- Manage project priorities by balancing time and scope to maximize personal and team impact.

Qualifications
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Computer Science or a relevant field.
- Demonstrated expertise in SQL for querying, managing, and analyzing data efficiently.
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
- Skilled in automating data processes and skilled in performing data preparation, blending, and analysis.
- Have a high-level understanding of data ingestion and ETL pipelines.
- Strong grasp of financial and business concepts, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with Adobe Analytics, Alteryx, or Python is a plus.
