The GenAI Team at McDonald's Corporation within Global Technology is an innovative initiative aimed at using groundbreaking artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to drive business growth and improve customer experiences. As GenAI is a hot topic within McDonald's, the team has been established to capitalize on this momentum and orchestrate the development of AI-powered products and solutions from scratch.

In this context, McDonald’s is hiring a Manager, Data Product Manager to build innovative products that cater to the diverse needs of McDonald's collaborators. This includes developing AI-powered solutions to optimize customer experiences, streamline corporate operations, improve restaurant performance, and capitalize on market opportunities. The team operates at the intersection of technical expertise and business, ensuring that AI solutions align with McDonald's strategic goals and deliver tangible value across the organization.

Responsibilities

1. Technical Solution Development:

• Design and develop AI-powered solutions using the technical stack on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Vertex AI, Gemini models, and Python.
• Collaborate with Data engineers to implement AI algorithms to solve business problems.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of the technical solutions to meet the needs of various collaborators.

2. Business Requirements Analysis:

• Work closely with business partners from Customers, Corporate, Restaurants, and Markets to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical requirements, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business goals.
• Identify key performance indicators and success criteria for evaluating the efficiency of GenAI products.

3. Product Strategy and Roadmap Development:

• Define the product strategy and roadmap for GenAI-powered products, considering market trends, customer feedback, and business priorities.
• Prioritize features and functionalities based on their potential impact on Customers, Corporate, Restaurants, and Markets.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of the product roadmap.

4. Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

• Supervise the performance of GenAI-powered products and analyze metrics to assess their impact.
• Seek opportunities for optimization and improvement based on data-driven insights and user feedback.
• Iterate on product features, user experiences, and business processes to continuously improve the value delivered by GenAI solutions.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or mathematics preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to generate innovative solutions
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks and C++
• Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing techniques
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team
• Expertise in crafting, implementing, and leading GCP solutions, including familiarity with key services relevant to AI development such as VertexAI, BigQuery, Dialogflow, Cloud Search and Cloud Functions.
• Knowledge about Front End Development – React and JavaScript
