About the department
The McDonald’s Global Business Services (GBS) People/HR Services Team is responsible for leading the HR and Payroll service delivery for our North American company owned restaurant crew/managers and Corporate Staff. We deliver end to end services such as general HR inquiries/questions, Employee Relations cases, Benefits Administration, Core HR & payroll transactions among several other HR service areas. This is a great opportunity for an individual to gain broad perspective of McDonald’s and the Global Business Services (GBS) People team.
Job Description
As the HR Data Reporting & Analytics - Supervisor, you will provide functional and analytical support to the Director, HR Technology & Compensation Systems on various activities related to Global Corporate Staff Data and Oracle HCM reporting optimization. These activities include data integrity, reporting, functional testing, executing process improvement plans and supporting cross functional initiatives as needed. This position will help shape our HR reporting strategy and serve as a functional point-of-contact for assigned functional area(s) and assist with issue resolution. You’ll “sweat the details” and execute on the day-to-day needs to deliver a simple, easy and useful experience to our internal customers.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Provide timely and accurate HR reporting to key internal customers.
- Maintain overall data quality and integrity across global corporate staff data process (in Alteryx), including data validation and audit requests.
- Collaborate with Shared Service/HR colleagues to better understand full scope of processes and gather information to identify opportunities to better leverage new/existing reporting (i.e., Oracle Reporting, Power BI Reporting, etc.).
- Support resolution of data related issues working in conjunction with internal teams (HR, IT) and potentially external vendors.
- Monitoring and reporting issues for areas of responsibilities.
- Provide support for assigned functional area(s).
- Maintain security roles and process access requests for HR Tools and data.
- Proactively escalate issues and risks when needed.
- Possess a Continuous Improvement mentality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 3+ years HRIS experience, Oracle preferred.
- 3+ years of dynamic experience in HR Reporting or Data & Analytics, and a customer service focus.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an emphasis on Excel.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Power BI and Alteryx.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of HR business processes and terminology.
- Able to handle sensitive and private information in a confidential manner.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize projects, and enforce deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Understanding of Continuous Improvement.
